Basic Math/numeric skills - Knowing how to handle cash & how to count it will take you a step forward because you understand how to count it, this can lead you to do the pricing of products, just showing how important numbers are because you able to do accurately.

Negotiation skills - understanding how to communicate & upsell a product with a customer is a skill that you'll need acquire because it is important in the retail industry & required to have because you are essentially a salesperson.
